Message from the Chair
Welcome to 2010 AsiaNetwork Asian of the Year Awards!
The national Asian of the Year Awards are now open for nominations year round with August 30th, 2010 being the closing date for submissions.
2010 marks the fourth annual AsiaNetwork Asian of the Year Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements made by Asian Canadians and all Canadians from all walks of life. Categories have been expanded and redefined over the years, and now they include the following eight categories:
- Arts and Culture
- Sports
- Business and Professionals
- Volunteerism / Philanthropists
- Public Sector
- Life Time Achievements
- Youth
- Asia Canada Relations
On behalf of the Award Selection Committee, I call on Canadians from coast to coast to coast to nominate the person you think most deserving the title of 2010 Asian of the Year.
Whether an entrepreneur with tremendous business acumen, a volunteer who dedicates countless hours helping the less fortunate, a mentor whom everyone goes to for advice, a Canadian who has made significant contributions to Canadian Asian affairs, or an artist or athlete who excels in their field, we want to honour these individuals.
Please join us at AsiaNetwork as we scour this great land for the most respected and admired Asian Canadians and non-Asian Canadians in your community and beyond.
